This feels like a lot of food. Are you sure I’ll lose weight?
Many women aiming to lose weight are under eating based on past diet culture suggestions instead of being at an appropriate deficit. While it may feel like you’re eating more food, our hand portions and nutrition targets will still put you at enough of a deficit to make sustainable progress.
Remember that more food doesn't necessarily mean unhealthy weight gain. Having more food in your day can help provide more energy to push harder during training sessions, reduce stress in the body (which can cause fluctuations in water), allow for better diet adherence, and to fuel muscle growth among other things. Assuming you keep consistent with your nutrition and training, all of these things will contribute to healthy weight loss.
