Can I do HIIT cardio / an exercise class / swim / etc.?
Absolutely! These are all great options for your 60 minutes of daily activity.
Exercise classes, swimming, hiking, biking, and other activities like this are excellent choices and fit the low- to moderate-intensity daily activity we recommend. While HIIT does have the potential to compromise your recovery, if you'd like to include this in your training week, we suggest you schedule this on a non-workout day.
